Customer Reviews

Not as easy as suggested and to big2
The bivvy is much larger than it appears in the photo - Matt Hayes must have been superimposed.Erection is not as simple as suggested - practice before bankside imperative especially repacking - a larger bag would solve the problem. A well made quality product probably bigger than needed for a day session.A taller person may find it easier to erect..........a windy day would be fun.......

very good4
the day shelte is very good for the money
it is great for a days fishing as you can keep your self and all your
fishing gear dry all day

Poorly built2
I purchased the TFG force 8 shelter and agree with the other comments that is not simple to put up. The instructions supplied are quite simply inadequate (I recommend watching instructional videos available on internet). With a lot of practice rapid erection is possible.

However, my main issue with the product is the quality of manufacture given that on using the shelter for the fist time in the field the porch pole attachment broke. I returned the shelter and received a new one. The first time I put up the new shelter the attachment that two of the poles go into (to give the shelter structure) came away from the fabric making the shelter useless. I returned the second shelter and asked for a different model. Maybe I was unlucky but my advice would be to buy a shelter that is less complex by design and thus less prone to go wrong.
