Customer Reviews

Great Book for Every level of Player5
Frank Scoblete divides his book into four main parts. Basic strategy and the truth about the statistics of the game, then advanced playing method such as card counting and other techniques like shuffle-tracking and dealer tells. The dealer tells section is the most complete and interesting I have ever read on the topic by the way. Then Scoblete analyzes the various questions people have about the game and answers them. The most lively and fun part of the book are Scoblete's stories and his "diary" section at the end. These are more than worth the price of the book alone. I would say that Frank Scoblete is the best gambling writer in the business and this book proves that. It is one of a handful of the best blackjack books ever written -- as it says in the title!

Incredible book!5
This is just a great book by a great writer. If you have any interest in blackjack or casino gambling, buy it.

Good Background and Advice5
What I really like about this book is the comparison he makes with the various counting systems. The author shows that playing a level one or easy counting system is just about as good as playing a more complicated system. Then he shows you the system he recommends. The book is excellent in its depictions of what it's like to play in real casinos. Frank Scoblete, the author, is a very talented writer and his stories about the casino wars are very funny and witty.
