"Terror Tracker" chronicles the extraordinary experiences of an investigative journalist who set out to penetrate the internal workings of al-Qaeda and illuminate the murky world of international terrorism. Neil Doyle's journey began in 1993, with an assignment to report on the first bombing of the World Trade Center in New York. That experience led him to resolve to abandon his job as a news editor in favor of investigating terrorism full-time. Doyle twice managed to locate the exact whereabouts of Osama bin Laden, and despite opposition from figures in the world of espionage, he went on to uncover al-Qaeda's plans to use chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons against Western targets. "Terror Tracker "lifts the lid on the unseen battles being waged between al-Qaeda computer hackers and their Western counterparts. Terrifyingly, Doyle provides an unprecedented expose of the way militant groups are using Britain as a base for organizing operations all over the world. Alarming and riveting, this is a fast-moving insider's account of the West's war on terrorism.

Terror Tracker -Al Qaeda exposed
Neil Doyle's book Terror Tracker is an outstanding piece of research and investigative of journalism that exposes the workings of Al Qaeda. Doyle describes how he was twice able to locate the whereabouts of Osma bin Laden and writes about his role in the downfall of Abu Hamza? terror tedium
Near the end of Doyle's rambling, cliche ridden, abysmally researched offering he starts talking - at some length - about how the book deal for the very publication we are reading came about. His delight at getting an offer turns to concern when he realises how many words he will have to write a day to hit the deadline. And so it all makes sense. Like a small child writing his first diary, Doyle writes about everything that has happened to him regardless of whether it has any relevance. And for the most part it doesn't. Our hero really gets exited when he gets to go on telly or get interviewed by the newspapers. Though very rarely does what he says get used. This book offers almost nothing to understanding modern day terrorism. But to be fair to Doyle, he did make the word count.
