Computeractive
A great title and essential for fans of the original game.

Manufacturer's Description
Fall of the Reich covers 3 major offensives taking place in the final days of fighting on the Eastern Front. With Germany holding strategic cities in a bid to protect the Fatherland, and the Red Army driving relentlessly towards Berlin, the Spring of '45 saw some of the most vicious battles of the entire war.

Fall of the Reich also chronicles both the Soviet and German offensives in the long siege of Budapest, the incredible tenacity of Axis forces in holding "Fortress" Kurland and the Soviet Operation Bagration that freed Byelorussia and opened up Eastern Europe to the Red Army

Difficulty level ruins an otherwise solid game.2
I really wanted to enjoy this game, late war ww2 is one of my favourite settings, allowing you to play with really cool war machines.
Although the game play is basically solid, it is unfortunately ruined by a punishingly hard level of play, even on the easy setting. Half your attacking force can be destroyed by artillery or tanks which you can't even see. Levels have to played over and over many times to even have a hope of getting through them. And no matter how carefully you arrange your forces they can be destroyed by unending, unseen enemy forces. Can't locate one small enemy artillery piece? Say goodbye to all those lovely Panthers and Tigers as they blunder around the map being picked off.
Only play if you want a real challenge. About as much fun as pulling teeth.

Blitzkrieg 2- fall of the reich3
Enjoyed the game very much. Still don't like the colours used for the different forces, ie blue-allied, red-enemy, etc takes away the realism when a blue tank suddenly appear in the middle of battle, just coloured bars at the above the item would be just as good. Apart from that I found the game fun and taxing.
