Customer Reviews

"Pure beats from your head to your feet"5
Finally a CD of the bodhran that's great for players and lovers of Irish music. From the first ever recording of the instrument up to modern day greats like Ringo Mcdonagh and Robbie Harris. I love it !! "Pure Bodhran" presents the bodhran as a driving rhythmic accompaniment, as subtle or teasing embellishment to adorn music, lilt or song, as a tonal instrument in its own right or in a proud solo role. I think i might even take up this instrument myself. All i can say is this double-album is great and well worth getting your hands on. Looking forward to Pure Bodhran 2 ! "To the beat to the Bodhran keep it pure"

Not Bodhran !............1
This is highlighted as Pure Bodhran, but, it's not. The Bodhran is all but left out in a lot of the tracks. If you want Bodhran this is not the one.
