Perfect guide for all you need for your Prague city break!
Having purchased this guide, I was extremely impressed to see how useful it really was.

I took two guides along with me to Prague on our 3 day break - one of which was the Shortlist Time Out guide, and another which was a world renowned 'guide'. Our Shortlist guide won buy far! It helped us concentrate our time in those areas which were 'not to be missed' so there was no time wasting.

I only wish that guides like these should specifically name places /restaurants that should NOT be visited. One evening we visited a restaurant not to be featured in the guide, 'U Golema'. After fairly good service and excellent meals at cheap prices, we wondered how this could not feature in the book. After receiving the bill - we soon realised why...19% service charge in addition to a cover charge. So my advice, stick to recommendations by the book. They are tried and tested, and re tested. All places recommended in the guide met our expectations and the ratings provided were also a real true reflection of the attraction itself.

The only time we did need to revert to our other guide was for the maps. With lots of little streets to explore, it was difficult to see exactly where were based on the street maps provided - as they were not detailed. (My eye sight may have had something to do with this too). However there was a Metro map provided which proved very very useful in knowing where we needed to get to!

If there's one guide you should be purchasing for a short city break to Prague, it should be this one. If you are planning spending longer there, you would value the greater detail provided by more in depth guides.
