The Chinese Elm is an indoor tree and stays evergreen all year round. These trees have wonderful shape and are one of the easiest bonsai species to care for. A care sheet will be included in your delivery. Approx dimensions - Av. Tree Height - 31-37cm inc pot. Av. Pot size - 20cm glazed ceramic. Approx Age - 12 years. The luxurious chocolates comprise of 140grms of truffles and creams of dark, milk and white chocolate. Due to the amount of these tree gift sets we sell we cannot unfortunately list and photo all the different trees we have in stock so the tree you will receive will not be the one pictured........but it will be just as nice (or even nicer if your lucky!!)

Thanks to this tree, she's now my girlfriend
Before my girlfriend became my girlfriend, we were good friends. At the time of her birthday I was overseas, so I decided that Amazon was the next best thing to get her a gift in time, and I thought (read: hoped) a birthday present delivered to her door would seem personal and get her thinking more about me. I now know she was doing that long before this present, so call me insensitive, "idiot can't take a hint" or whatever, I still think this present played a part in our relationship.

I got her this present because she likes plants or anything to do with nature. And so my eyes popped when I found a bonsai tree WITH chocolates!! Women love chocolate, and my girlfriend is the definitive choco-desserto-sugaro-holic. Our story is not as simple as this, but I'm not going it to tell you. This is a product review, not an online diary.

Suffice to say that whether or not you are thinking of buying this with the same motive I had, it makes a great gift. From what she told me, it was beautifully packaged, the chocolates were heavenly and the tree was nice, too. It may be a bit hard on the wallet, but for me, it was worth every penny.

Coupling a tree with various other gift items are a great idea. Thanks, Bonsai Store.

(But the one drawback was the collection. The postman woke her up at 8AM. Yeah. Not the best time to win someone over.)
