Product Description

John and Jenny were just beginning their life together. They were young and in love, with a perfect little house and not a care in the world. Then they bought home Marley, a wiggly yellow fur ball of a puppy. Life would never be the same. Marley quickly grew into a barrelling, ninety-seven pound steamroller of a Labrador retriever, a dog like no other. He crashed through screen doors, gouged through drywall, flung drool on guests, stole women’s undergarments, and ate nearly everything he could get his mouth around, including couches and fine jewellery. Obedience school did no good – Marley was expelled. And yet Marley’s heart was pure. Just as he joyfully refused any limits on his behaviour, his love and loyalty were boundless, too. Marley shared the couple’s joy at their first pregnancy, and their heartbreak over the miscarriage. He was there when babies finally arrived and when the screams of a seventeen-year-old stabbing victim pierced the night. The heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making and the wondrously neurotic dog who taught them what really matters in life.

Truly Amazing!!5
This book is simply amazing, I loved it from start to finish and there wasn't a dull moment through the whole of it. It doesn't matter if your a dog lover or not, this book is for everyone! I love books, but this is definatly one of the most memerable I have read in a LONG time. I have a dog of my own, but after reading this book I found that I spent more time with my dog that I used to, this book made me think about how loyal a dog can be. To sum it up an amazing book and well worth reading.

MARLEY AND ME5
I Got this book because one of my rottweilers had to be put to sleep in Feb 08, I could not bring myself to read this book until may 08. I am so glad I read it, I couldnt see the words half the time for the tears but I ALSO LAUGHED alot, this is a fantastic book for anyone who has losted a pet it will help you relaise that you should be happy that you had the honour to have your pet in your life... one of the best books I have ever read.

fantastic, real, and emotional5
this book is the best biography i've ever read, it took me 3 evenings to read, staying up until 4.30am i had gotten so hooked. I cried, I laughed, but i could recognise every step in the dogs i see every day, including my own. If you need that feel good feeling from a book read this. I don't usualy cry at books but this one had me sobbing on more tham one occasion, a well written book, that has made me think about the inevitebility of dog ownership, the time when you have to say goodbye, but not in a sad way, with a reflection on all the good times and all the fun we shared. Enjoy them whilst you can, even the naughtiness, as you will be able to look back on the shredded furniture with fondness when they are gone, and laugh.
