Great youthful singing and pride of North Wales5
The dedication and fruits of 18 years of dedication of Celin & Rhian Roberts who had a vision to make a school of music and arts. You will not find better young singers from the junior and youth choirs. The youth choir shocked many on BBC 1 Last Choir Standing with the maturity of their performances. This is a CD to treasure and marvel at some great talent and stars in the making.

O Fabulous5
O Fortuna After eighteen years of non-stop shows, Eistedfords including umpteen awards how come it took a TV programme to bring Ysgol Glanaethwy to the general public? . Ysgol Glanaethwy were to my mind the best group in "Last Choir Standing' no matter what the rest of the country thought. I am glad they have brought out this CD on the strength of that performance. The outstanding track, both in the show and on this CD is the title track - Carmina Burana's O Fortuna. I have never heard it sung with such passion. Other tracks worthy of mention are 'Circle of Life', 'You raise me up', and the swinging 'All that jazz.' They haven't forgotten their roots either with over half of the tracks sung in Welsh. They have also given track time to the junior choir and judging by their sounds they could well be involved with the next edition of Last Choir. I do not normally like choir music but the BBC series 'Last Choir Standing' and this CD had me riveted from start to finish.

Chior Singing at its best5
Having followed the choirs on the TV Ysgol Glanaethwy just blew my musicial mind the the skill and variety of their singing. I have the Tv recording on my hard drive of some of the performances. I wish I could sing as well, their singing is inspirational.O Fortuna
