Pure AV?...only with dvd!
I bought this scart block to allow me connect my freeview box and dvd player to the single scart in my tv, only having to switch on one or the other to enable the 'switching' effect. First impressions are good with a quality finish to the block and a substantial cable. However it is totally let down by the fact that with dvd and freeview connected, only dvd works. With the dvd player switched off, there is no picture on freeview. The picture only appears when the dvd player is disconnected from the scart block!!...which kind of defeats the purpose of having the scart block in the first place. Very disappointing and not cheap either!

Wheres the sound????????
I bought this item and was very impressed with the looks and build and it switched between devices as stated BUT found that my dvd player and sky box were so quiet when i had all three scarts in use that i had to turn my t.v up to full volume to hear them but the sound on my ps2 was perfect. Yet if you only had one thing plugged in e.g dvd player the sound was normal which kind of defeats the idea of the product. I would recommend looking else where for a scart block.

Good Cable but bad design
It's a shme to give this product such a bad review but as with most other non switched Scart blocks the picture is brilliant untill more than one RGB cable is plugged in where the picture becomes dark and the sound becomes either non existant or very quiet. I suppose it may work as an output splitter. In short the cable on the block is top quality but the block itself is useless. Don't buy this, buy the Hama Scart splitter with a belkin cable because that works brilliantly and this does not.
