A necessary addition to an Acid Refkux suffer's bookshelf
I have just been diagnosed with Acid Reflux and realised that I had to make drastic changes to my diet and lifestyle. I bought Tell Me What To Eat If I Have Acid Reflux and have found it very informative. Elaine Magee covers everything I needed to know and more. The recipes are useful as are hints such as chewing gum after meals and raising the head of the bed. I also didn't know what I should and shouldn't eat, but I do now and it has helped immensely. It is also great to know that I'm not alone and that there are millions other suffers out there.

A fantastic book for suferers
This is fantastic book for sufferers (like me) of Acid Reflux, giving excellent advice. Remember that exercise is important, as well as what you eat! Highly recommended.

A waste of money
Sorry, but this is really awful. I appreciate that my opininion may be a bit slanted because I've wasted money buying it. There are so many good books that give so much more information on acid reflux and in a non-facile way e.g. Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski, or Healthy Digestion the Natural Way. It's rare that I get a brand new book and take it to the local charity shop the same day (with some guilt at the thought that someone else will waste money buying it, but at least that'll be in a good cause rather than boosting a bad author's earnings).
