Customer Reviews

Get rich quick fantasy1
This is what you might call peddling the obvious and selling fantasy, although it is done in a chatty amusing way and Nicola sounds fun. It's the usual get rich quick, don't need to do much, what is called a passive investment. If you've got money to burn maybe go along with it but if you haven't beware! The people who will get your money are mortgage companies, estate agents, solicitors, Nicola and the Chancellor (and goodness knows what he will do with it). If you can throw money at property managers it could be passive but if not think of tenant voids and the fact that house prices may well do a bit of a correction and actually fall!

A Real Workout for your Financial Muscles5
Like any muscle that doesn't get used, the financial muscles tend to atrophy (and that's if they were even developed in the first place). This book is just like working those muscles in a gym because it starts at a level everything needs to address and develops, step-by-step, into a real workout that gets you to get your finances in shape, gets you to sort out a plan for financial freedom now, gets you to sort out a future plan for retirement and trains you to feel comfortable with all the processes around money whilst doing so.
It's accessible to all, written in an informal tone, yet offers many new ways of thinking around finance. I've read many, many financial training books and would highly recommend this as a must any collection.

Exciting Yet Pain-Free Workout for your Money Muscles5
when I picked up The Money Gym I wasn't expecting it to have a big effect on me.

I'm proud to say that I was wrong. No matter what level we're at, financially, this book contains advice - some common sense that we need reminding of and some that will be quite revolutionary for many, insights and very valuable exercises.

Like having your own personal (finance) trainer, the book takes you by the hand and gets you doing the exercises that lead to more financial organization, a clearer vision of where you're going and provides several ways to reach your goals.

This should be required reading for teens before leaving school unprepared for the real world of financial planning.

Nicola writes as she speaks, giving the book an easy, accessible style without airs and graces or any flannel.

Finally, a Kiyosaki for Brits (and a female one at that!) but actually valuable principles that transcend geographical borders.
