excellent!
Having never used Rough Guide series before, I am now a big fan of them - thanks to this one. I found the visit to Bulgaria (incl. stay at the shore of Black sea, mountains etc)smooth and easy - thanks to all the relevant details from this guidebook. A special treat was the visit to the Devil's Gorge - a relatively unknown, but very impressive place (we actually stayed in a very nice hotel, whose owner had worked together with the authors in preparing that part of the guide). Highly recommended for an independent travel to Bulgaria!
