Inch Loss is definetly Correct!5
Another Great Gymball DVD

I had done one other of Lucy's gymball DVD's (introduction to gymball) and I enjoyed this one as much ( well as much as you can enjoy a workout!)

As stated on the cover the DVD is designed to burn fat and lose weight fast. It took me through a warm up, a full aerobic routine, a fat burning circuit, tummy toning and a stretch. The routines were fun and diverse, and I definetly felt that if I continued to do this workout I would loose some more pounds.

Great DVD

Not for Beginners3
I had done a couple of gym ball 'taster' classes at my gym and liked it so much I decided to buy the ball and this DVD to go with it. I have lots of exercise DVDs (aerobics/dance) and usually get on fine, but this one has been quite hard work in terms of getting to grips with poses etc.

The instructor does all the poses in advanced mode and her side-kick does demonstrate the easier version, which is helpful for beginners. But even so, some of it seemed very difficult compared with what I've done at the gym.

My main problem has been the speed of changes between some poses, and the space you need to do the workout. In a couple of places, I have to stop the DVD, rearrange myself/ my lounge and then restart. Also, at one point, you have to hold the ball above your head with fully stretched arms, and since I'm quite tall, I can't do this as the ball hits my ceiling!!

Basically, I've decided to buy another ball DVD to see if I get on better with a different instructor.

effective, enjoyable, but a bit out of date4
I'm surprised to see a really negative write up on this dvd. This has been an effective workout for me, I consider myself pretty fit, I dance samba, do gym work and cycle regularly. I've attended swiss ball classes, seen a few other dvds, this one is definately the closest to a class that I've found. It really warms you up, burns you up and stretches you effectively. I'd advise to go to some classes first if you've never been before just to start you on the right track... good for picking up extra exercises and stretches too. The only annoying thing is the awful music... what's wrong with these people... it's so uninspiring! Maybe it's about time for a follow up as it's 4 yrs old now
