As for the CDs you already own, iTunes makes it easy to transfer your favourite songs and albums. Just pop a CD into your Mac or PC and click the Import button. You can import music in a variety of formats, such as MP3 or AAC, and at whatever quality level you’d prefer. Customer Reviews

DONT BUY ONE OF THESE2
Right basically I bought one of these, i spent £200 on it new and was so so please when i first got it. The garuntee is for a year, and ONE MONTH after my garuntee ran out it started to play up.

The screen turned itself off
Battery decided to die randomly
Photos would pause
Screen would stay blank and blue for a long time
Whole iPod would pause

Then something else happened. I had done nothing wrong to this ipod or treated it badly. I plugged it into my computer and it just refused to upload anything.

I took it to THREE apple centres and they said the only thing i could do was to restore it, and if it didn't work then i could just upload all of my songs again. The stupid people at Apple didn't listen to me saying that it wouldnt LET me upload any music.

I tried to restore it, deleted all of my music (painfully!) and it said that my ipod was "corrupt". Not that i had mistreated it.

IT IS NOW BEING A VERY EXPENSIVE PAPER WEIGHT!!!

I reinstalled all drivers and cd etc to no avail

IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm planning on going to Apple centre and kicking up a REAL fuss and getting them to give me my money back. I am not happy.

Buy a Zen Creative - they are so much better value for money.

Hmm.. Not sure.3
I ordered one of these iPods my birthday in september, only having to send it off to the netherlands for repair in december. The iPod itself is really really easy to use and was great for the first 6 weeks, but its battery life has quickly decreased..

The iPod also only seems to work if you have a cover for it - why would you need a cover? Surely the thing is protected enough to work without one? Well, it would seem the answer is no.

I, personally, loved the ipod when i first got it and I still do love it, but I'm not sure it was worth all that money for the faults it has./

iPod photo- best MP3 money can buy!5
I bought an iPod photo (20gb) and it is fantastic! Although replaced recently with the video iPod, I would strongly reccomend it. The click- wheel is a pleasure to use and it holds a massive 5000songs with album art. The only negative that i can think of is the price. It was £209 and you can get the equivalent Sony for less; but then again it is an iPod!
I can sum it up in 1 word: FANTASTIC!
