The Bop It Download - an odd name, we grant you - had us getting down and generally giving maximum respect to the laser at gadgetshop HQ the other day, until Geoff strayed to close to a hot soldering iron and burnt a hole in his tank top. That put an end to that. Never mind. Back to the Bop It, the core objective of which is to keep time with the beats by pressing a sequence of buttons as the tune evolves. But that's easier said than done when the tunes keep on getting faster and you've had a few sherbets, as Geoff will attest. With no fewer than 15 different levels, it will have you and your chums a-boppin' until the wee small hours, as the infuriation grows and a burning addiction develops inside you. It's not so much about hand-eye coordination as hand-ear coordination. Try getting Darwin to evolve that. The old Bop It had its limitations, particularly when it came to the number of pre-stored tunes. So now, when you tire of its funky sounds, simply download some, err, 'phat beats' from the comprehensive Bop-It site via the conveniently-located USB port- or plug in a microphone and be your own human beatbox. Now that is fric-a-fric-fresh.

Bop it addiction
We all love Bopit (6, 10, 40)!!! My 6 year old came up to me and said; "Mummy, I think you're getting addicted to Bopit". It's great fun for all and easy to play together as you can "pass it". No damage yet, the controls seem to be sturdy and easy to use.

I purchased this for my grand-daughter as part of her Christmas persent, I don't know who has had more fun with it.... the children or the adults... great gadget for all ages... really keeps you on your toes

Great game for all ages
Bop it is a great fun game, however this suffers from a fault that all the Bop it range suffer from - its too quiet for those who cannot hear very well. However its a great fun game and this one has the added feature of putting your own voice on to do the commands. A great deal of fun - worth every penny.
