Book
This book contains some very good activities for a hyperactive dog!! Especially when they are housebound after injections or surgery. It encourages dogs to use their own brains. Thoroughly recommended.
Great start to clicker training
This is a great book to get you thinking about clicker training.
The training is very easy to understand.
I am now off to buy Mary Rays over book!
Super all round book
This is a really nicely laid out and well-written book. Mary Ray really knows her stuff. But you have to like the concept of the clicker to buy this really, so although the book explains it, just check that you want to use this method before buying it, or it will be a waste. She only uses positive reward based training methods.
It gives a nice overview on basic training with easy to follow steps & tips.
The sections on using the clicker for agility etc towards the back are quite short, so you would need further books about these aspects.
But all in all, a very good book for someone with a beginner - intermediate level experience of training dogs with a clicker.
