Excellent for even beginners to the sport
I found this to be a comprehensive yet down to earth guide to the sport of Agility. It breaks down each exercise into steps that anyone can master with their dog. It is written in such a way that even newcomers to the sport can enjoy Agility. For anyone interested in this sport, this book is a must read. Included are plans to make some of the obstacles. Wonderful book.
A good book for everyone from beginning to advanced.
I read this book as I was trying to find ways to keep my Rottweilers busy. The book outlines what agility is, how to train, even how to build equipment.
I have been to my first competition, and have a yardful of agility equipment built from the back of this book on which my friends and I practice.
Ms. Simmons-Moake is easy to read. She is enthusiastic in her book and in person. I highly recomend this book especially to the beginner as they will get the nuts and bolts of agility.
