Lost in France: The Early Years~ Bonnie Tyler
A double disc, song filled delight of Bonnie Tyler's early chart hits from 1977 to 1981.
This collection consists of A and B sides and album highlights that give us a great insight into Bonnie's music before she turned to rock, her music style back in her first years of recording was pop and country.
"Lost In France", "It's A Heartache" and "More Than A Lover" were all huge hit chart hits for Bon but one of her other great successes of that era, "The World Is Full Of Married Men", sadly dosen't make an appearance in this set. Another wonderful track, "My Guns Are Loaded" sadly isn't included as well, but this is a huge, 30 track collection that almost makes up for the loss of these tracks by being accompanied with a great booklet, with detailed liner notes and photos.
There are many cover tracks here to, "Piece Of My Heart" and "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" to name just a few. There are her country classics such as "I Got So Used To Loving You" and rare tracks such as "Yesterday Dreams" which is a solid, great song.
All in all this is one great collection with a fantastic selection of songs from Bonnie's early years just like it says in the title, this is an era in Bonnie's career long before "Total Eclipse Of The Heart".
