Skittles
Probably great used on a carpet or grass. (They are advertised as 'garden skittles') We used on a wooden (home made) skittle alley. The balls are made of very soft wood and they became pitted the first time used. So they now don't roll very acurately.

Garden Skittles
The skittles are too light to stand on grass and if you use them on a patio, the wooden balls crack so I'm a little disappointed.....sorry

Garden Skittles ~ 10 pin.
I purchased this skittle set for our family BBQ, mainly for the younger members. But the adults soon realised they could also have a lot of fun playing it. It is very well made and durable. The carrying bag is a real plus for storage instead of having a cardboard box that would eventually fall apart. A third ball would be handy when playing 9 pin.
