Essential kit
If you buy a set of free weights, particularly at the lower end of the price scale, then you really need these.

They protect hands from the rough edges of handles, and also improve ones grip on the knurled surfaces of dumbell/barbell handles, as well as providing a little padding.

They also have the slight psychological effect of getting one in the mood for a weight training session (not a bad thing at all!)... or could that be just me? :)

Great for Free weights
I brought these gloves after going through about 2 pairs of what I thought were 'good' gloves.

If you train in a free weights gym then these are the right gloves for you.

Does the job
Does exactly what it says on the tin. This is my second pair of this type with the last pair lasting 1.5years and being used to lift weights 2-3 times a week.

Padding starts to get a little thin after a few months but for the price highly recommended.
