The beauty of advanced design

A dual phone with a sleek and elegant design. Slim and curved, it will look good in your home and feel great in your hand. And it's more than a pretty face, because the Philips VoIP dual phone is designed from top to bottom for complete convenience and ease of use.

Crystal clear phone calls

Skype has crystal clear sound that makes it seems like you're actually in the same room as the person with whom you're talking. That's because the technology behind Skype doesn't compress the audio for that muffled effect you usually get with regular phones. The Philips VoIP takes this one step further with Voice Enhancing Technology. You'll never want to go back to regular calling!

Skype line and landline

The Philips VoIP dual phone makes and takes both regular landline calls and free Skype calls. That means you can keep your landline number and make calls the way you always do, as well as benefiting from all the advantages of Skype.

Speakerphone

Use the speakerphone to make hands-free calls or take advantage of Skype free conference calling with up to nine friends at once.

Stay in touch with technology too

Skype is constantly upgraded and updated with new and improved features - like enhanced conference calling - that you'll be able to download and use via your Philips VoIP handset, just like using Skype on a computer

Skype Certified

The Philips VoIP is Skype certified. That means it not only works perfectly with Skype but also feels great to use.

Skype conference calling.

Skype also lets you make free conference calls with up to nine people at once. Invite all your friends or family to chat on one call and enjoy the party!

Customer Reviews

Great Phone ...but VISTA users BEWARE!!4
We've been using Olympia Dual Skype phones for 3 years or more. The problem with them is that after about 6 months of use the display starts to disappear. At the time we first got the Olympia it was the only Cordless Skype phone available. Now there is a wider choice. We thought Philips would be pretty reliable and opted for the 3212 Duo phone set - at just a few pounds more than the 3211 single phone. The package arrived with a small clear instruction booklet - which we followed exactly ... and that was a mistake as the supplied software is designed for Windows XP and does not work with Windows Vista. If you want to use these phones on Vista you will need to download the Vista compatible software from the Philips site 1st - DO NOT use the supplied disk. If in doubt search the Skype forums for VOIP321 - where you may find solutions to the Vista problems. OK so we wasted many hours trying numerous different ways to get the software installed before we finally succeeded - but once we didthe phones themselves are great. Unlike the Olympia - with the Voip321 - you can put your phones anywhere you like in your house - it is only the little base-transmitter-box than needs to plug in to the PC. The sound quality is pretty good. The menus and options on the phones are easy to use - they appear to work happily with both Skype and normal calls, so hopefully we will now have several years of trouble free use.

Skype Phone Does work with VISTA5
Having purchased this twin pack from Amazon without reading the reviews and as I experienced over 3 hours of lost time trying to get it to work. I use Vista Ultimate. All the problems previously reported in other Amazon reviews happened to me (the phone was connected to the computer but not recognised by Skype) - in the end I solved the problem by completely removing skype from my computer, connecting the phones hub directly into a usb port on my tower and installing the download from Philips' website (file called; voip3211s_01_cdi_eng), make sure the compatibility mode (XP version) & `run this program as an administrator' is used for the USB phone driver (right click on icon & select compatibility tab). The downloaded software also installs a version of skype that works - do not be tempted to install the very latest skype program as this caused the same connecting problems. The phone works great - took a bit of head scratching to conclude that you have to use the big `S' button to make your skype calls and if the number is one that is not already in your skype contacts then you have to dial it by dropping the `0' and replacing it with `+44', the `+' digit is inputted by holding down the `0' for a couple of seconds. Very good range on phone, good sound & build quality. Aprently it works fine with Windows XP. Also read the reviews for the single handset option.

Very disappointing product but impressed with Amazon1
I wish I had read a few more reviews for this before I bought it. Firstly, I was expecting a 'no pc required' voip phone and was disappointed to discover it wasn't. However, I thought I would give it a go as we needed a new landline phone. In hindsight, a yoghurt pot and a piece of string would have provided a clearer call than this "phone" - it was worse than dire. I could not hear the 3rd party, despite turning the volume up to max and the interference was awful - every few seconds an intermittent crackling noise which lasted about 5 seconds would occur. This was never a problem with our old portable handsets so I knew it was the actual phone as opposed to our telephone line. In it's defence, the quality of the skype call was crystal clear but we needed it primarily as a landline and so we sent it back. I sent it back by courier 2 days ago and received an email from Amazon this morning to inform me that a full refund was going through. I would never ever buy a Philips phone again and would recommend everyone gives this particular model a wide berth, however, on a brighter note, Amazon were excellent and I am very impressed at their very speedy, no nonsense returns and refund policy.
