About the Author
Michael Blackstaff is a chartered accountant and a member of the British Computer Society. He has over thirty years' finance, marketing and training experience in the IT industry and its customers in many industries. He has previously worked as a financial marketing specialist with IBM, developing business cases, selling leasing, teaching salespeople the finance of selling and advising customers on financing and accounting for IT. Self-employed since 1993, he writes books and teaches courses on finance for non-financial managers and professionals in IT and other industries.

Great book
If like me you have a passing understanding of capex, npv etc but deep down you know you're bluffing it then this could well be the book for you.
I read it from cover to cover (took about an elapsed day spread over a few weeks) and found it readable, as interesting as finance can get...., and able to cover all the key areas of IT finance without going into unnecessary depth.
Worth giving it a go.
