Customer Reviews
Highly recommended
This book was extremely useful as it gave me a good background before I got started. I bought the two other Bulgarian property guides but found this to be by far the most informative. The interviews with local estate agents, a lawyer and buyers were interesting, but I particularly liked the conscise guides to the main areas which helped me decide where to focus my attention. I've since bought a rental apartment in Sofia and I would recommend this book very highly to anyone thinking of buying a property in Bulgaria.
The Ladybird Guide to Buying a Property in Bulgaria
The information in this book is useful but only for a basic overview if you really know nothing at all. It contains a couple of good tips but it is not detailed enough on any of the main issues to be fully relied upon, it is just a way of being aware that you need to look further into something. Far too many adverts and no real information of any substance. You can find better stuff free on the internet.
really is a ladybird
Rather rubbish, very little help and overpriced for the basic information it gives. Full of advertising and doesn't really tell you anything that someone who is interested in Bulgarian investment wouln't already know. estate agents do better than this book with there free mags.
