A little dissapointing...
As a keen Floyd fan with a shelf full of Floyd books I thought I would add this one to my collection - sadly I'm a tad dissapointed. There are 160 pages which may sound a lot but isn't when you're flicking through mainly photographs. There is some text, a few lines or so to describe the following group of photographs and that is about it. Okay, so the text isn't really required as the photographs mainly do the talking but it doesn't take you long to get through this book from start to finish.
One of the biggest dissapointments of this book is that some of the photographs have been printed before. I was expecting to see a complete book of previously unreleased material but sadly that is not to be the case. Having said that, there are some really great photographs mainly full page or double page which do make it a nice book, but that's about it, it is a nice book with nice photographs but not worth the money. However, if you are a true Floyd fan like myself then you'll no doubt want to add this to your collection so no matter what the review says you'll buy it anyway!
