Love, Rosie - BEWARE - ALSO TITLED 'WHERE RAINBOWS END'
Living in France I rely on Amazon to keep me stocked up with good books. Recently, having discovered the author - Cecelia Ahern - I was keen to find some more titles. With no synopsis available on Amazon - perhaps something that could be considered by them? - I was delighted to find another title. Imagine my dissapointment and annoyance at finding that 'Love, Rosie' was in fact 'Where Rainbows End' under another title. This really should not be allowed. Is it another way of making money for someone? The book however, whichever title you choose, is very cleverly written and a refreshing change of format which I really enjoyed.
Beware: Same Book Different Title
OK, so I should have read the other reviews, but the book wasn't for me so I bought it for an avid Cecelia Ahern fan only to find out that it's the same book that she's reading at the moment. Doh! Not only that Amazon will credit the book less delivery... I should claw back a few pounds. Caveat Emptor.
so confused...so disapointed
when I realised there was a new Cecelia Ahern title available, I ordered it from amazon straight away, knowing instinctively that this new title would be another excellent escape into the imaginative and romantic world so typical of Cecelias pen? I have read all of her other books and thoroughly enjoyed each one. I was so excited when it arrived.. but I decided to save it to take on holiday. You can imagine the scene...the scorching Algarve sunshine, the golden sandy beach, sharing a jug of ice cold sangria with Dave reading his newspaper... and Cecelia.. a perfect combination! I assumed a relaxing position and opened the book excitedly...So you can imagine my utter confusion and disapointment when I realised I had already read it? The title and the cover changed completely.. but the story within.. a previous title 'Where Rainbows End' a brilliant read... but I just cannot understand how a book can be retitled in this way? Tut tut..very naughty! How can this be allowed? Has anyone got the answer to this?
