beware
another of these albums where it includes new recordings by original artists ( very small print below track listings )
Some tracks are ok.

Big Disappointment
A very disappointing collection - on paper a good selection but alot of the tracks are not the 60s singles versions so it probably will end up in the bin.

one star is too generous
I actually got this CD for free being part of a buy four and get one free offer. I noticed the very small print statement indicating that "some tracks have been re-recorded by one or more of the original artists or group" (or similar), but as this collection included some hard to find tracks on CD I took a chance as many similar collections have only a few remakes. To my displeasure I discovered that it was an understatement to say "some tracks" and would have been more truthful marked as MOST TRACKS, by my reckoning and seasoned ear there is about a mere 14% of original recordings. If you were considering buying this collection my advise would be don't bother. Nice packaging shame about the tracks.
