Braun's Multiquick Professional Hand Blender improves on an appliance that's already highly convenient.

With a 600-watt motor, this updated hand blender has increased power for faster and better results. A dial on the top of the handle allows you to select from five different blending speeds, giving you more control over the consistency of your purées. A turbo button on the front of the handle lets you immediately switch up to the highest blending speed.

The hand-blender attachment has a unique blade that offers smoother and more even blending, making it ideal for puréeing fruit shakes, soups, or homemade baby food. In addition, the hand-blender shaft has an innovative anti-splashing design that prevents food from splattering on your kitchen walls during blending. Other included attachments are a mini food processor with an anti-slip bottom for chopping foods such as herbs, onions or meats and a whisk for whipping egg whites, cake batter or cream.

My favorite kitchen appliance
This is my favorite kitchen appliance. Easy to use and easy to clean. Much more useful than a big food processor, if you are choosing between the two. I probably use this 15 times more than my food processor. If you want to whip up a little batch of pesto, puree some vegtables for soup, make some breadcrumbs, this is your baby! And speaking of babies, excellent for making food for infants. My husband teases me that I make creamed soups just so I can use it. I see they have come out with a newer version which has a bigger jug thing...I would probably go for that if I were to buy it again.

I love this machine. It is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean. The stainless steel shaft of the blending attachment means that I have no worries about it becoming cracked or discoloured in use, and the whisking and liquidising attachments are equally good. Plus buying it through Amazon saved me money!

I really like this blender. Its fantastically easy to use, and takes the pain out of boring jobs. Infact, I've found myself making fruit smoothies just so that I can use it. Its quite compact, and easy to clean - whether you have a dishwasher or not. All that, and it looks good.
