Unbelievable!
I started looking at epilators because being a naturally fine-haired girl through waxing my leg hairs had got even finer, too fine for waxing itself and therefore I always had annoying fuzz! I have horrendously sensitive skin and find shaving makes it sore and hair removal creams actually burned my skin leaving red raw patches for over a week. After reading all the reviews I found the 5685 in Boots for £59.99 and decided to make what I consider to be a pretty expensive beauty purchase. Sooo glad I did!
I didn't expect the epilator to remove all my leg fuzz but it did (less than half an hour for both legs!). I did my bikini line with no problem at all (less painful than wax) and once I had plucked up the courage I did my underarms, which I had always just stuck to shaving. The underarms are definitely the most painful but I didn't use the cooling glove as I was impatient.
I do have a bit of a rash a couple of days on but it is going down quickly and is something I used to get with waxing which is why I am giving this wonderful machine 5 stars! My cooling pouch is also sitting happily in the freezer waiting for the next time as I have a feeling it may help reduce redness afterwards for sensitive ones like me!

What a time saver....
I bought this epilator a couple of months ago - I was tired of shaving my legs every morning in the shower and didn't have the time to get them waxed regularly.
Was quite nervous of using the first time - was expecting pain!
However, I found the cool pack unecessary and no pain! You can feel the hairs being taken out - but only slightly odd feeling - not painful in my experience. Underarms however was a different story - too painful - will continue to shave them.
The results get better with continued use - I just use it a couple of times a week before bedtime - takes only a few minutes.
I highly recommend this product - probably worth spending out on a more expensive model such as this one - the small light is a fantastic idea!

This is the first review I have ever bothered to write...but this product deserves it!
I had waxed in the past but the last 10 years had gone back to the razor. Thought I would give this epilator a go after reading previous reviews and am I thankful I did.
Smooth legs, much better than waxing ! The pain first time was minimal on the legs and the bikini line was not too bad either...certainly didn't need the cooling pad. Under arms were sore the first time but persevered and the second time was OK.
After that it was plain sailing...no pain and no hair !!! 15-20 minutes once a week sorts out legs, bikini and under arms.
Buy one and forget your wax and/or razors forever.
