Customer Reviews
its nu metal
but i like it coz i liked it wen i was young.
its not that bad i like it better than there others
Poor
I am a big Spineshank fan but this album is not that good at all, it was made too early in their career and it shows. The Height of Callousness is a miles ahead of this album, so I'd buy that instead. This is only for the hardcore Spineshank fan, but if your just looking for a good Nu-Metal album, look elsewhere.
Disappointing debut from Nu-Metal masters
"Strictly Diesel" is the forerunner to Spineshanks infinitely better "The Height Of Callousness" album, and it's really interesting to see how they progressed. "Strictly Diesel" is an okay album, "Stovebolt" and "40 Below" stand out more than the rest, but the cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" works surprisingly well! The album is more downtuned is a Deftones style, but if you have any other Spineshank albums and want to check out their early stuff, you won't actually regret getting this album. If you're new to Spineshank, get "The Height Of Callousness", it's so much better!!
