Galliano Live!!!!!
For those of you who know Galliano well and do not own a copy of this album then do so immediately.It's clearly set in an informal atmosphere which helps to give this a cosy yet powerful performance of Galliano's predominantly later tracks.
The mood is set from the start with a rendition of slack hands that begins in a mesmeric electronic haze that beckons you to listen on with curiousity.The same can be said for most of the other tracks with for me personally Galliano's anthem Prince of Peace being the pick of the bunch,the way in which Rob Gallagher tries in vain to get the Japanese crowd to sing along in English is worth the price tag alone!
So if you are a Galliano fan or not i reckon you will be well pleased with this purchase if only for Valerie Etienne's attempt at the lingo!
