Magic5
I got this in VHS and just had to buy the DVD. This is a live concert over two days recorded in '96 (or thereabouts) but don't let the alarm bells ring, they actually play the old stuff. And what a concert it is! Huge stage, fire, blasts, excellent use of lights and an incredible vibe and sense of energy throughout. I'm not normally a live music DVD buyer so I can guarantee that if I have watched this countless times then so will you. Buy it, simple as!

METALLICA CAN STILL DO IT!5
This dvd is an excellent package with songs from the old albums and greatlive versions of aint my bitch and king nothing. If you are worried aboutthe lack of kill em all, puppets or justice tracks then take note that theperformance of one, fade to black, creeping death and the meledy areexcellent.Only real dissappointment was the short version of master ofpuppets but this is forgetten as once the song is over and the stage fallsapart in a brilliant set piece diaster. The band play at their best and ihighly recommend this for any metallica fan.

Damn Good DVD5
If you're a fan of metallica, and unlike the strange few who seem so narrow as to only appreciate the content of the first 4 albums, then this is a great excerpt from the load/reload era for you. The concert is very well recorded, and sound/picture quality are very good, considering this was the first ever concert to be released on DVD. If you are looking for songs from the beginning of their career, then i suggest you buy the live s**t binge and purge box set, or join the club and get a fan can. But this concert has a great range of songs from the time of the concert (1996) and we see all of the greats, including master of puppets (short version for this tour im afraid), enter sandman, fade to black, and one for example, as well as some great renditions of creeping death, king nothing, and a great jam of bad seed. There is some older content for the fans, and a medly of kill em all and ride the lightning songs brings together the best part of some of the best songs from these albums, followed by a great performace of motorbreath and the stage falling apart, this makes a great DVD to watch... a sound investment indeed!
