If you know Tania Maria, then this is the interesting bit. If you don't know her music, it's a mixed bag of soulful, jazz-funk woven around Tania's piano with some (quite a lot, really) latin groove and the occasional really corking up-tempo piece to put some chili into the pot. All overlaid with Tania's deep and remarkable vocals. So, if you like any element of that, then Happiness is just the ticket. Each track has to be heard on its own merits and they all succeed in hitting the mark in their own way. Although from different sources, the collection does gel together quite well to make a roller-coaster of sounds.
Whether it's background music or to sit down and chill to, this collection will give you full satisfaction. A superb, soul-stirring introduction to this wonderful musician.
