Metal most manic at their best!!!!
As anticipation now grows for the forthcoming new album I thought I would grab this dvd while I waited for its release and its a good reminder of how awesome this band is.

I remember seeing Slipknot live for the first time when they played Ozzfest in the UK a few years ago and have fond memories of watching the band onstage while hundreds of plastic bottles went flying through the air thrown by the crowd (including me). It was an awesome moment and although live albums and dvds can't really capture the exhilaration you feel while being at a live show this comes pretty damn close.

For a start you can tell the band were up for it and watching them unleash havoc onstage is a joy and had me headbanging away in my living room (while annoying the neighbours!).

There is plenty of stuff to recommend on this dvd such as promo videos and different camera angles for some of the songs and all in all it is a great package.

Slipknot live is something people just have to witness before they die!
What a live performance. What a band. Superb quality in sound and vision. This is a must for any Slipknot fan. Highlights include 'The Test' in 'Spit It Out' & Joey Jordison's upside down drum solo. Pure class.

This video is a live Slipknot gig in London. They put on an amazing show, the amount of effort that when into their performance is quite outstanding. They play songs from the albums Slipknot and Iowa, and a good mix they play too.
