600% quality
The Xoo% series is a lovely collection of Jamaican stuff that effortlessly spans the decades from Reggae through Ragga to Dancehall. 600% is no exception. It used to annoy me that Soul Jazz never put enough information on the sleeves, you know, basic info like the original recording dates, musicians etc. Thing is, it gets you listening to the more current stuff with the same intensity as the stuff from the so-called Golden Era of Jamaica.
600% quality, breadth, and, yes, dynamite... Soul Jazz rarely put a foot wrong.

Another superb addition to the Dynamite series
My hat goes off to whoever it is at Soul Jazz Records who puts the Dynamite series compilations together, they are consistently picking out sublime slices of quality Jamaican music, sometimes obscure and unusual, always interesting, not bound by any dogmatic prejudices, they have that feel that you get when you get your records out and start to enthuse about them to a mate after a few beers!
