Customer Reviews
An excellent introduction to Brazilian music
This is a most enjoyable album that introduces the listener to a wide range of the various musical styles to emerge from Brazil. Bossa Nova, Samba, soul, funk, MBP(Modern Brazilian Pop), Drum&Bass - you name it! Including classic tunes and new, one will find it difficult to sit still with this record playing. Particulary exceptional are "Nao vem que nao tem" by Wilson Simonal, "Quiexeme" by Tom & Joyce, "Batmacumba" by Gilberto Gil and "Meu Samba Torto" by Celso Fonseca.
If you're new to Brazilian music and want a sizable sample, this is highly recommended!
