very very juicy.
this album is really fresh, and i think joseph malik's sound has matured smooothly since his previous album Diverse. Diverse is a wicked album too and well worth the buy - still the deep unique tones of malik, his real life messages, stimulating mixes of tempos and rhythms, jazzed harmonies - but aquarius has done it twice over, and every track is as lush and diverse and meaningful as the last..at the same time i know this album is going to be one which grows and stays with me over time, as with every listen theres always more to be found. just hope i get to see this talent play live some day!
Smooth and soothing NuJazz
I bought this cd by pure coincidence, but like it very much. Malik has excellent voice, beautifully emphasized through careful and colourful instrumentation. If it is possible for music to radiate colours towards the listener, then this is the example.
