Another great Aussie import
I didn't actually buy this from Amazon but downloaded it from iTunes. I love this band's sound - blues-y, a little C&W, more than a little Chilli Peppers. 'Betterman' has rapidly become one of my favourite tracks, it is constantly played.. great lyrics, great delivery and superb slide-type guitar. I am sure we will be hearing a lot more from them over here before long.

Well worth a listen!
I got into this band after hearing 'Zebra' played on numerous occasions whilst attending live gigs in Oz last summer.
If you haven't heard it, Zebra has one of those annoyingly catchy riffs that just lodges itself in your head and refuses to budge (frankly, I'm amazed it hasn't been a hit in the UK).
I bought the album on Amazon once I got home hoping for more of the same and, although none of the other tracks gets close to the foot-stomping brilliance of Zebra, this is still a very good album.
Betterman is one of a number of good tracks on an album that provides the perfect backdrop to long summer drives or lazy Sunday afternoons. This is by no stretch of the imagination a classic album, but it's well worth a punt if you're tiring of identikit 'indie' and fancy something a little bit different.

What a Top Album!!!! I spent 6 months in Aus and never heard of JBT until I was on a flight between Sydney and Joburg, I was hooked, I watched a live performance every time it looped back round on the in flight entertainment!!! Give it a whirl, you wont be dissapointed.
