Average customer review:Product Description
Best Days showcases Amy’s extraordinary vocal talent, featuring classical works and orchestrated traditional folk songs as well as three brand new tracks, all highlighting Amy's exceptional voice. Stand out tracks include the haunting "Scarborough Fair", the exquisite vocal range of "Time To Say Goodbye" and the powerfully operatic "Io Le Canto Per Te". Other tracks include Amy's own unique take on classic tracks "Fields of Gold" and "I Can't Make You Love Me". Recorded over the summer, Amy worked with top producers Simon Franglen (Madonna; Quincy Jones; Celine Dion), Jon Cohen (who has worked with Vanessa-Mae and the OperaBabes and co-wrote "No Greater Gift" and "Friends For Life" on the album), Tolga Kashif (who has worked with Lesley Garrett and co-wrote "So Far Away" on the album) and leading orchestral producer, Jonathan Allen.

Customer Reviews
Scarboro. Fayre
Although one or two songs I do not enjoy, I gave it 5 for her outstanding rich emotive powerful voice and the stop dead in your tracKs hauntingly beautiful rendition of Scarborough Fayre.
I hope she finds some more unusual tracks to perform, I am looking forward to the next album.
Miss Nuttall delights with ease and class...
Amy Nuttall really showcases her amazing vocal talent with feeling, depth and emotion in this selection of beautiful songs: Amy Nuttall - Best Days. Amy does not want the de reguer, fleeting accolade of being described as a modern day, ex-TV dolly, made-it-good 'Pop Princess', which given her looks, could so easily be achieved. Miss Nuttall stays true her classically-trained roots, and focuses on a stunning range of both traditional and modern classics. This tastefully crafted album will not disappoint and will bring many hours of joyful listening.
Lovely, but one quibble...
Don't get me wrong, I've every admiration for Amy's talents as a singer. Her song "Friends for life" is in fact 'Our Song' for my girlfriend and I. If I have one quibble it's the excessive level of orchestration in most of the songs. At times Amy's voice is all but drowned out. Shenandoah is a soulful traditional song needing little accompaniment yet at times an entire orchestra is going full blast. I read that she's recording another album. I just hope she has a better music arranger.
