I first heard Amapola within the soundtrack to Once Upon A Time In America by Ennio Morricone and fell in love with it. This is the first time I've heard it by an artist with the lyrics.
All I can say is that if that one track doesn't blow you away, you have no heart and most definitely no soul at all. The rest of the album is soul searingly beautiful. This man has the gift of a voice that soars above you and takes you to places undreamed of. He is in a class of his own.
