Long Live the Wildhearts .....
I was at this gig and what an amazing one it was, with an unusual venue adding to the magic! On the day the Wildhearts were as great as they always are, playing superb rock tune after tune, OK so the DVD production isnt the greatest but strangely enough that just makes the atmosphere stand out more than usual on Live DVD's, at the end of the day this is a no frills Rock n Roll show which suits what The Wildhearts are about! I can still remember walking through the streets of Scarborough hearing the drunken singing of 'Dont Worry Bout Me ...... Great day and great DVD!!

Excellent all round
Not much to add really - the boyz in fine form - most of the favourites are there, but considering Gingers prodigous output, many omissions are inevitable.

I don't suppose this will win any new fans, the rest of us will only watch and wonder "why are this band not global superstars?"

I believe this is the first ever "professional" Wildhearts DVD and one they can be proud of. Contains all the hits for the avid "wild" fan to which Ginger, CJ and the rest play in their own unique and exchuberant style and if you've never listened to the wildhearts - my god you don't know what your missing!! Having been at the gig braving the cold (it was on a cliff at the end of September!) This DVD shows just how well the band played with the crowd ever helpful in singing along with a bit of crowd surfing thrown in.
I sat through the whole concert tapping my foot - I intended to watch it for 5 minutes!!
