Cracking first album from Pharell's brain child NERD, unique mixture of rock, hip-hop and soul. Fav track is 'Rock Star'

Still undecided as to wether or not this is their best album, but sees John Frusciante on top form with some excellent tunes.

Some damn cool covers, mainly of early 90's hip-hop, but still containing the unique Rage sound. Check out their brilliant re-working of Bob Dylan's 'Maggie's Farm.'

An eclectic mixture of dance, blues, jazz, country and techno, these are best known for the theme song to 'The Sopranos'.

This 1995 release is by far Rob Zombie's best work. The killer riffs are complimented by the lovely Miss Yseult's stormin bass.

This is how rap should be done, with upbeat songs that don't talk about how much money they have or what cars they drive or how many women they have slept with. Very easy going stuff.

First, and best album. I saw them live a few months ago and have to ask, 'what went wrong?'

Heavy, full of passion and with great tribal percussion. Check out Soulfly for more of the same from Mr. Calavera.

If at a party, put this on. Loud. Namely 'Want You Bad'. My fav Offspring album.

To be honest i'm not a punk fan, but seeing these and the above 2 bands live kind of changed my opinion. Brody shows she's not all just good looks with some quality songwriting and excellent tunes.
