Breezy Break Books For a Self Sufficient Life

This is the Breezy Break Amazon Store. We have chosen things that we have found useful, entertaining, thought provoking or that we want for ourselves. We are currently living in the Limousin region of France and in our first year of trying to put into practice the "book learning" on growing our own food, keeping chickens and DIY as we attempt to live on nothing. While we were plotting and planning our adventure we bought lots of books both as preparation for the things we wanted to do and as a way of almost being here. We frequently find that we absorbed the dream and not the facts so we constantly have to refer back to the books we read.Our projects are constantly re-scheduled as there are just not enough hours in the day to create a vegetable garden, build chicken houses, preserve food, make craft projects all while trying to renovate even a tiny house. But it is so worth attempting! There is lots of detail about what we are doing on the Breezy Break website. Obviously a lot of the things here are geared towards our self sufficiency aims but we need to step back and relax from time to time, there's more to life than being wrapped up in your own little world so there is the music, video and novels that we also enjoy plus a few products that we use or would like to own.
