Inkheart
This is a great trilogy. Book one leads really well into book two and now into book three. Have read Inkheart and Inkspell and am getting through Inkdeath very quickly. Hard to put down. Have also read Dragon Rider and Theif Lord.
Cornelia Funke is a writer that I'm glad I've discovered. As a very very old "child" her writing certainly appeals.
Can't wait to see the film (s) as and when they come out.

Inkheart the trilogy
The trilogy was everything described. Bought this trilogy for some light reading over Christmas. A story within a story, where the imaginary becomes real. Truly an amazing read I recommend to all.

The wonders of Inkworld came alive for me and set my imagination free
The Inkworld series is vivid and imaginative set of books and very original. I loved them and the author, Cornelia Funke, must have put her heart and soul into writing them. I'm sad that InkDeath was the last book.
