A really good read
What a fascinating and detailed insight into the Royal Family. I really enjoyed this read. It begins like a fast-paced detective novel with the author going through the intrigue of getting a scoop for his paper (he is a journalist for the London Standard) and goes on to tell how the Wills and Kate relationship will change the face of the British Royal family - with lots of juicy behind the scenes revelations along the way.
I have read a few books on the royals, especially on Diana's life, and what I liked about this one was that it was so beautifully written with real authority (I can't stick those gushing books full of vague mush).
Although the two youngsters are not quite engaged yet, it can't be too long before they make an announcement... watch this space!

Royal Rubbish
After reading approximately 100 pages of this turgid book, I felt an overwhelming desire to throw it on the fire. Not only was it badly written from the word go but many of the so-called "facts" struck me as being nothing but unsubstantiated hatstand from a notoriously arrogant misogynist. I cannot help but feel loathing towards this charmless writer who has somehow forged a career writing about the good old Royal family. If you are after idle speculation and a first class ticket to snooresville then this account is for you. Jobson represents everything that is wrong with reporting in this field - Fleet Street's finest this writer is NOT.
