Lots more bangs, orbs, whispers and swearing!
Series six of Most Haunted was the first series to be released in three seperate boxed sets. Volume one is probably the best of the three with more orbs, bangs, bumps and panic attacks. Yes, we have seen and heard it all before but the locations and phenomena make compelling television. Fans of Most Haunted will know that members of the crew go on late-night vigils and everytime they hear a bang or other noise they swear ALOT. This may be amusing to some viewers but what must the spirit children think?

At Dalston Hall in Carlisle Stuart spends the night in a haunted room while Karl spends the night in another. The televisions in both rooms are turned on while both men sleep. At The Golden Fleece pub in York the team are joined by Scott Mills and Mark Chapman from Radio 1. The spirit of a little boy proves to be very mischevious and when guest psychic David Wells enters a toilet area a tap turns itself on. This episode will be remembered for the guttural laugh which terrifies Yvette Fielding and is recorded by the crew. Parasychologist Ciaran O'Keeffe cannot offer a scientific explanation for it.

For episodes six and seven the team return to the scene of their most shocking live show ever. At Pendle Hill in Lancashire Yvette has her most titanic hysterical fit ever. Comedy or Tragedy? You decide. At Tynedale Farm resident psychic Derek Acorah confronts the evil of the Pendle witches once again, with painful consequences. When David Wells communicates with the spirit of a witch called "Elizabeth" Yvette tells her that she is not afraid of her and asks her if she is a coward. After that, all the witches arrive at the building. During a late-night seance Derek is knocked off his chair and behaves as though he was punched hard in the stomach. The phenomena that occurs here and in the 2004 Halloween live show proves that this area of Lancashire is one of the most haunted places in Britain.

At Prideaux Place in Cornwall Derek delivers a first for Most Haunted - he encounters lost souls in the shapes of "Rabbits". In a room where a murder may have occured David Wells visualises the walls "bleeding". At The London Dungeon Derek encounters the spirit of "Jack" the ripper. He states that two men were committing terrible crimes at the same time and the auditory phenomena is quite extraordinary at this location. At Bodmin Gaol in Cornwall Yvette begins to feel sick and is touched by unseen hands. As her anxiety increases she utters the immortal line "can we get the **** out of here now."

There are ten episodes in this four disc set. Each episode lasts just under forty-five minutes and is complimented by a twenty-five minute "extra" episode. These "extra" episodes feature behind the seens footage and members of the crew talking about their experiences. There is also a twenty-two minute "exclusive" feature which contains extra footage and more behind the scenes footage. This boxed set is recommended for fans of Most Haunted alternatively Most Haunted - Series 6 - Complete offers over 1300 minutes of paranormal action.

The Most Haunted team have done a superb job in the past, investigating the haunted locations they dare to visit, but in the brand new most haunted 6.1 they have more than supassed themselves!!! There are more laughs, screams, mysteries and ghostly action, than you can shake a stick at! Some of the spirit lights they capture on film are amazing! All of this presented in a brilliant boxed set!
