I'm Alive Again5
I am on the last few days of this Journal and when I get to the end I am going to start it all over again. I found the inspirational pieces Paul has included so inspiring and helpful along the journey to getting thin. Aged 59 and still dreaming of losing weight - my husband bought me this book and I thought I'd give it a try but also bought the main book with the CD.
After a couple of weeks, I realised that I no longer cared about how thin I did or didn't get, I would keep following Paul's plan because I felt so much better than I had in years. I am losing weight very slowly (which I think is the best way) just around 1 to 2lb at each 15day interval but it is consistent (10lb loss so far). There are no up and down times and, in my case, I am enjoying my food more than I can ever remember. I was someone who never ate between meals, had no snacks in my desk. Now, for the first time ever, I have snacks of different types in my desk that I can choose from when I get hungry, but that can just stay there when I am not. At last I can relax about food. I just want to say 'Thank you Paul McKenna, you have made an incredible difference to my life'.

A weight off your mind5
I bought the original book and then got this after attending one of the Weight Loss seminars a few weeks ago. I can honestly say I have never felt better than I do now. I started this at the beginning of July, the day after the seminar and I feel amazing. I fully admit I was sceptical as anything, but now I just feel happy and relaxed! I don't worry about what to eat, I even find that the relxation techniques help with work-related stress etc. I don't step on the scales everyday looking to see if it's gone horribly wrong, eating out doesn't fill me with dread. Buy this and the original book and you'll never look back. If you can make it to the seminar as well it will help with the rest, even though the price looks a lot it's the best money ever spent. I can't encourage you do to this enough! If you've started it too, good luck to you!

I have to disagree with the person above. Naturally thin people are naturally thin as they listen to their bodies and don't tend to scoff their food like there is no tomorrow. This is where we overweight people differ, we tend to rush our foods and not listen to our bodies. I've been doing this for over a week and I'm noticing that I don't eat half as much, I don't pick half as much and i don't crave as much as i did 2 weeks ago and my clothes are already feeling much more comforatble, no jeans cutting into tummy no more :-). It really does work. It takes practise and it really is re-conditioning your brain to listen to you body. I think though that if you want to change how you feel about yourself inside and out you have to be committed 100%, if not give it a few weeks and re-evaluate what you want then, tehn give it a go, for a few quid there really is nothing to lose
