Customer Reviews

This DVD is not authorised by Bruce Springsteen1
This DVD is not authorised by Bruce Springsteen because it has nothing to do with him!
NO "rare footage" NO "rarely seen performances" NO "interviews with the man himself" NO "exclusive contributions from E Street Band members" that I have ever seen on tour or on video/dvd.
About 20 minutes in my partner and I asked each other "Who are these people...?"
Do I sound peed off ? not really more ripped off good and proper by PRIDE who are both clever and devious. Playdotcom are not much better as they are refusing to refund even though the dvd definitely is not as advertised or promoted.

bad road trip1
The back cover of this DVD says it includes a selection of Bruce tracks but the program itself asserts that it features no music from bruce springsteen at all , this second statement is correct. I feel that this release is at best misleading . there are some interesting interviews with ex - members of the E street band and other acquaintances but the only interviews with Bruce are from a very old BBC OGWT program . Save your money and buy VH1 Storytellers or the box set of Born To Run for the real Bruce interviews , this really is for completists only , you may learn something in 3 hours but you could have been listening to or watching the BOSS instead .

Road to Nowhere1
The word rubbish is as often overused as the term legend when dealing with music reviews, but trust me this is dire. Disc one has been released before as Becoming the Boss and wasn't any good then. There is no original music, there may be some rare performances but they are so rare I couldn't find them. The interviews are drivel by a collection of wanabees and neverwere's and are so bland they could be about anyone. This collection should be avoided like a pig a sombrero.
