Trapped in the black, crushing depths of the sea, his mind inert in the grip of stasis lock, MEGATRON knew nothing of the desperate search mounted for his remains by the other DECEPTICONS. When he was finally brought back online, their effort and sacrifice meant little to him. The only thing that had any meaning was revenge. He would have his vengeance against the human boy who cheated him of his prize, and he swore to celebrate over the smoking wreck of OPTIMUS PRIME. Recreate exciting movie scenes or stage your own living room battles with this awesome DECEPTICON leader! MECH ALIVE gearing helps bring this havoc-wreaking villain to life with a twist of the waist! Unleash an extending energy sword and fusion blast in robot mode. Or convert to vehicle mode for a Cybertronian tank thats ready to flatten the AUTOBOT competition! The battle is on!

The best mould for megs!
This toy is a real treat, he is by far the best mould for Megatron that we've seen for the movie lines, surpassing the leader class figures easily. He looks quite impressive in his cybertronian tank mode, quite intimidating. He is nicely detailed, and a nice addition is that you can see the head below the cannon, protected by 2 face guards, as he is in the move.
Transformation is easy and nothing pops off at all, all the joints are well built and hold the toy in some nice poses. His robot mode is very nicely detailed, much nicer than the leader class. He has cogs in his chest that move as you turn his hips, and as you move his right arm, a blade emerges out, which can be pulled out as well, and trust me this is supposed to happen, I have seen some people worried about pulling it out and breaking the mechanism, there is a spring inside with a little tab that moves out of the way.
My only complaint is the huge backpack on this thing, however some nice poses can be achieved with it, it would be much better if there was a way to take it off, as with the first voyager Megatron.
Not a bad buy though, I would definately pick him up whether for collectors or children.
9/10
