Definitely caught and held the attention of our 4 month old!
Big, bright interesting photos of chicks & chickens, colts & horses, puppies & dogs, etc. with nicely attached textures representative of the animal's coat for baby to feel. Our daughter looks at the pictures longer than most books, opens her hand that has been placed on the wool, etc., to get a better touch with her fingertips. Very effective and baby friendly fun tool for 3-way visual, tactile, verbal association-building.

My daughter loves this book!
My daughter consistently brings this book to me to read with her. She loves running her fingers over the "animals" and we make the animal sounds.

My son has just started to get into books, I bought this one as he is loving animals a lot at the moment, it was a whim.

I am so pleased that I did. He carries it around, reads it on his own, or comes and shows me what he has found or asks me to read it. He has taken it to bed again tonight.
